I have been hooked on "How To Make It In America" lately.  The show is dope, it reminds me of the early seasons of Finale except we didn't girls.

Similar things
- I remember having our T shirts in the car and being made stressed when I was in the office and the car was outside with hundreds of tees in the back seat.
- We had a big order of tees for Japan and they wanted hoodies after.
- Finale was a two man team.  One dude designs and the other just has stupid ideas.
- Kid Cudi would hang with us.  Ok, that is not true but I wanted a fourth point so it looked like there were a lot of similarities.

For those who have seen all eight episodes and notice the last two were not as hype as the first five.   There maybe is a reason, the last three had a different director.

In 1994 and for a few years after I was a well dressed cat. Maybe I wore my gear one or two sizes too big but I repped some serious labels. Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica, Polo, Izod, DKNY and Eddie Bauer were all in my closet. Helly Hansen and North Face would be on my back when I wanted something tech. For a 16 year old this took some serious saving or some racking or some buying stuff off dudes that would rack shit but I was rocking some high end labels.

What would I do without the internet. Before the internet became popular and readily accessible small companies would have to mail out or fax line sheets or hire a sales person. Small "basement" brand like Finale could never have been established or have ever achieved anything than as Queen Latifa says in the movie Juice "local".

So the internet is the key way for reaching out to stores, media, customers and all sorts of people in industry. I'm not emailing like Mark Cuban or running social media marketing strategies like Obama but I spend much of my day sitting behind a computer. It has been proven that blogging can be a key way for growing your business and engaging your customer so here is the start.
